Jon is a graduate of Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO (BGS 1983) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MARE 1987), and has served in a variety of capacities in various churches (pastor, music & education director, treasurer, Sunday school teacher, bulletin person).  His motto, as regards the church, is: Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might.
